EIDEX integrates Rango, an aggregator that reaches liquidity we do not

EIDEX has added Rango to its cross-chain route table. Its quotes are pulled live on every comparison, alongside 30-odd other sources, and ranked by the one number that decides the trade: how much actually arrives.

An aggregator with its own map

Most rows in the table are single venues — one exchange, one bridge, one pool. Rango is not one of those. It has run cross-chain routing since 2021, was incubated in the Axelar ecosystem and is registered in Zug; by its own count it reaches 55+ blockchains through 170+ DEX and bridge protocols, and the same engine sits behind swap features in wallets like TrustWallet and Binance Web3 Wallet.

None of that is why the row is worth having. The reason is narrower and easier to check.

What it actually adds

Every route in the table carries its provenance: which aggregator returned it and, where the aggregator discloses it, which venue underneath actually fills the order. Rango discloses.

On the two runs below, Rango's quotes came back through Harbor and NEAR Intents. Neither is in the set of 34 providers EIDEX queries directly. That is the whole argument for the row: where Rango's network reaches liquidity our own fan-out never touches, its quote can win on merit rather than duplicate a number the table already had.

Two live runs

Run at the time of writing, through the production API.

0.05 BTC into USDT on Ethereum. Thirteen live quotes came back. Rango placed second at 3946.57 USDT, behind Chainflip's 3948.03 — a gap of 0.037%. Underneath, the fill was Harbor.

1 ETH into BNB. Fourteen quotes. Rango placed third at 3.3076 BNB against Squid's 3.3110, a gap of 0.101%, routed through NEAR Intents.

Do not read those places as fixed properties. Providers drop in and out, liquidity moves, and the same pair an hour later returns a different order.

Second place is not the interesting number

The interesting number is the spread. On the BTC run the gap between the best and the worst of thirteen quotes was 1.90%; on the ETH run, 1.78% across fourteen. That is what a comparison is for: not to crown a permanent winner, but to keep the distance between the best available answer and a random one visible before the trade.

A source earns its place by changing that answer sometimes. One that never reaches the top on any pair adds length to the list and nothing else.

Where Rango fits

Rango appears as its own row wherever its route is genuinely distinct, and as an also-via on the winning row wherever it collapses into a provider the table already queries directly.

What does not change: EIDEX compares routes and hands you over to the provider's own site. We do not hold funds and we do not execute the swap — the trade happens at Rango, under Rango's terms.

About Rango — a cross-chain swap aggregator operating since 2021, routing trades across 55+ blockchains through an aggregated set of DEX and bridge protocols, with non-custodial execution and no account required.
