EIDEX integrates THORChain: native swaps straight from the protocol's pools

EIDEX has integrated THORChain into its cross-chain route aggregator. Its quotes are now pulled on every comparison, next to 38+ other swap and bridge sources, and the table ranks all of them by one number: how much actually lands in your wallet.

THORChain is a different animal from most rows in that table. It is not an exchanger and not a DEX, but a protocol with its own liquidity pools that settles native coins directly. BTC for ETH means native BTC in and native ETH out: no wrapped tokens, no bridge in the middle, nobody holding a mint key. The same adapter also covers Maya, a THORChain fork running its own pools, so the two protocols quote independently of each other.

Why this is an integration and not a partnership

The seven providers in our partners block agreed to something: a direct integration, referral terms, a joint announcement. With THORChain none of that is possible. It is permissionless infrastructure rather than a company - there is nobody to sign with, nobody to publish a reciprocal post, and no affiliate programme of the kind instant exchangers run. So THORChain gets a row in the table and no partner badge. We would rather the badge kept meaning what it says.

On the comparison itself the protocol competes on equal terms. We read its own minimum straight out of the quote response, so the amount threshold is visible before you commit to a route, and the ranking is strictly by output - rows are never reshuffled in our favour.

EIDEX stays out of the swap itself. We are non-custodial, we never hold funds and we do not execute trades: when a protocol route wins, you finish the exchange in the protocol's own interface.
