EIDEX integrates ChangeHero: instant swaps now quoted live against 30+ providers

EIDEX has added ChangeHero to its cross-chain route aggregator. Its quotes are now pulled live on every comparison, alongside 30+ other exchanges, bridges and DEX aggregators.

What a thirteenth quote is actually worth

The argument for comparing routes is easier to see as a measurement than as a claim. On a 0.5 BTC swap into ETH, run at the time of writing, the EIDEX table came back with thirteen live quotes. The best paid out 15.9374 ETH. The worst paid 15.5481. Same pair, same second, a gap of roughly 2.5%.

That spread moves constantly, because it is made of things that move: each provider's inventory, its fee schedule, and the depth sitting behind the pair at that moment. No exchange wins every route. In the comparison above, ChangeHero came back second - ahead of eleven sources that have been in the table considerably longer.

Fixed rate, floating rate, and the gap between sending and settling

ChangeHero has operated as a non-custodial instant exchange since 2018, covering 100+ assets with support staffed around the clock. It quotes both a fixed rate, locked before you send, and a floating rate that settles at whatever the market gives on arrival.

That choice matters most where confirmation is slow. The interval between broadcasting a transfer and having it credited is precisely the window in which a price can move against you, and on a congested chain that window is not measured in seconds. A locked rate converts the risk into a known cost; a floating one keeps the upside. Neither is universally right, which is why offering both is worth something.

Because EIDEX calls the ChangeHero API on each request rather than reading a cached rate card, the figure in the table is what ChangeHero would pay out at that moment, after its own fees.
